Africa Interior Design Week & Awards Digital Lauch

We are delighted to announce the Digital launch of Africa Interior Design Week & Awards (AIDW&As) on Friday, 17th March, 2023, from 10:00am – 11:30am. The goal of the digital event which will be streamed live across all digital platforms, @aidesignweek, is to introduce Africa Interior Design Week to various stakeholders such as competitors, exhibitors, partners, and participants as well as to unveil the website.

We Thrive Together

Innovation, creativity & inclusivity are the main driving forces for the African Interior Design Week and Awards that is set to be launched in September, 25th – 29th, 2023 at the Bomas of Kenya with the theme  ‘We Thrive Together.’ This groundbreaking event will bring together leading interior designers, architects, and industry experts from across Africa and beyond, to showcase their work, share their ideas and collaborate on new projects to promote a universal design.

AIDW & As is a technology-driven event that aims to foster the creation and dissemination of disruptive innovations in interior design. Furthermore, Africa interior design week is all about inclusivity, they’ll be  encouraging the Interior Design Industry to consider inclusivity and diversity when designing in order to fully support humanity from conception to death. Universal inclusive designs will enable every member of a community to access the resources they need to thrive and reach significant milestones thanks to all-inclusive interior designs.

 

Key speakers at the event include Karani George Washington, founding President of The Interior Design Week & Awards and president of IDAK Kenya, Emrah Kaymak, President of The International Federation of Interior Architects/designers Turkey, Titi Sandra Ogufere, Founder of The Interior Designers Association of Nigeria and former President of The International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers, Claire Le Quellec, French Council of Interior Architects Président France and Charisse Johnston, President The African Institute of interior Design Professions South Africa .

 

 

During the digital event we’ll unveil the website and officially be open for submissions. This website will serve as a hub for all things related to AIDW & Awards. The website will provide interior designers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts with a platform to showcase their work, exchange ideas, and learn about the latest trends and innovations in the field.
